Kamakura

Today Jacob and I visited Kamakura in the Kanagawa Prefecture, south of Tokyo.

Kamakura is a very famous area in Japan, home of the nations capital for a time in history. You can read all about the history and details by clicking here.

Took nearly two hours by train for us to get there from my house. It weather is surely heading towards summer as both Jacob and I got quite sun burnt.

Essentially, Kamakura is a precinct of temples and shrines of both the Buddhist and Shinto faiths.

Here are some pictures of what we saw.
